The simplified board is out!
We have also made sure you easily find the shortcuts to the analysis board, the search in sagabase and search in sjakkSheila.
We've grouped the buttons, and you switch between the groups using so-called carousel buttons.
The first group includes: delete move, delete variation, promote variation, record move comments, and write comments.
The dialog for entering player names, tournament, result, etc., is still a bit clunky — especially on mobile. But good things come to those who wait.
My suggested strategy is to enter the game as soon as you've played it, and then you can add the header information when you're at a tablt or a computer.
Remember, everything you've entered can be found under "My Work" beneath your name :-)
I use the microphone quite a bit when commenting on games. It automatically converts speech to text. It misinterprets some words and phrases, but I can edit those when I have more time.
When you later pick up the game from editing or your history, you'll still see the old button layout for now. Eventually, you'll be able to choose which layout you prefer.
